Thirty years ago on a cold blizzardy Friday night, January 13th, 1978, a momentous event occurred which has gone down in our Over-the-Rhine history as THE PEOPLE'S MOVE. The operators of the Drop Inn Center consciously planned and organized a secret, "illegal" midnight move from our former home on Main Street to our current location at Twelfth and Elm, which had been owned and not too long vacated by the Teamsters Union. This group decision of conscience was made deliberately to address the inhumane plight of the homeless in our community.

MUSE performs three songs at the beginning of this Anniversary Celebration. Join us at Memorial Hall to celebrate this Cincinnati institution of caring.
