On March 4 and 5 MUSE raised her voice, under the direction of Danielle Steele, interim director, to present a tapestry of multicultural lullabies and protest songs honoring the way women have always lead purposeful action to address inequality in hope of a better future for their communities, their children and themselves. Earlham College Women's Chorus joined MUSE for the second half of the program. The concert closed with a sing-a-long of The Women’s March anthem “I Can’t Keep Quiet” by MILCK.
MUSE was pleased to welcome Danielle Steele to the podium for this concert. As Assistant Director of Choral Activities at Earlham College, Danielle works with Earlham's Concert Choir, Women's Chorus and Gentleman's Ensemble. She has conducted the prestigious Indianapolis Children's Choir and has performed roles with opera companies and symphony orchestras across the Midwest.
