From Balkan chants to Appalachian songs, this 2002 recording captures MUSE's diverse concert experience. Recorded live at several concerts in 2001 and 2002, the album includes a beautiful commissioned work, "Her Song Rises," with lyrics by Ruth Sohn and Adela Karliner and music by Jennifer Stasack. Other highlights include Holly Near's "The New Underground Railroad" that speaks to ongoing social justice work and "Will the Circle Be Unbroken," performed with the Katie Laur all women string band!
