Still Ain’t Satisfied

November 23 | 7:00 (includes ASL interpretation)

November 24 | 2:00

Mount St. Joseph University Theatre

Four waves of feminism, and we Still Ain't Satisfied. Join MUSE this season to explore the triumphs and struggles of feminism throughout history. From the first-wave feminism focusing on overturning legal inequalities to the fourth wave's emphasis on intersectionality and body positivity, this Fall concert features feminist and social justice songs that echo the spirit of perseverance and change, coupled with the stories of why these songs need to exist in the first place.

After relfecting on the missed opportunities from the past four waves, we wonder How We Begin Again. What would an ideal world look like? And, most importantly, who was excluded in the past waves of feminism? Featuring a new commission, MUSE's Spring concert looks to inspire a new generation of artist-activists, and reignite the flame of those who's hope may have dwindled.

Support our New Commission

Your generous gift fuels our mission to lift up unheard voices and empower women through the unique power of choral music. In MUSE's 42-year history, we've brought to life over 81 new works and 130 new arrangements for SSAA choirs, amplifying voices that demand to be heard.

Now, we’re excited to commission an inspiring new piece by Ayo Awosika, premiering at our Spring Concert in April. Will you help lay the foundation for this impactful new work? Join us in creating a legacy that resonates for generations.

Composer, Ayo Awosika
